《佛定放生 日》放生活動通知

為遵奉佛陀慈悲利生教導，以及感念觀世音菩薩救度群生大悲恩德，本會將於《佛定放生日》（十月二十九日）舉辦 放生活動，以此功德迴向所放眾生離苦得樂，早脫苦趣，學到相應佛法，並祝願一切有情無諸病苦，業障消除，添壽增福，諸事順遂，正法永住，國運昌隆。

一、 放生時間：美西時間2011年10月29日（星期六）， 9：00 A.M.

二、 放生地點：13759 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292

三、 報名日期：自即日起至2011年10月15日截止

附註：考慮大眾經濟負擔和生計壓力，各道場、聞法點等可安排於自己國家居住地就近舉行放生活動。

NOTICE OF FISH RELEASE TO TAKE PLACE

ON “THE FISH-RELEASE DAY SET BY THE BUDDHA”

In accordance with the teachings of the Buddha to be compassionate and benefit living beings, and being inspired by how Guan Yin Bodhisattva saves living beings out of great compassion and kindness, our Institute will be holding a fish release activity on “the fish-release day set by the Buddha” (October 29th). The merit of this activity will be dedicated to all living beings so that they may leave suffering, attain happiness, soon free themselves from the realms of suffering, and learn Buddha-dharma that corresponds with them. We will also wish that all sentient beings be free from the sufferings of illness, that their karmic hindrances be removed, that their longevity and good fortune increase, that all things go well for them, that the true dharma forever remain in the world, and that our country be prosperous.

1. Time of fish release: 9:00 a.m. PST, October 29, 2011 (Saturday)

2. Location of fish release: 13759 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292

3. Sign Up Period: From now until October 15, 2011.

Note: In consideration of the economic burdens and pressure people are experiencing, temples, dharma-listening centers, etc. can hold their own fish-release activity near to where they are located in their own country.
